We recently made the move from Buffalo, MN to Beaver Springs, PA. We took a 3 day journey to get to our new home and everyone is adjusting well. The kids started school and are enjoying their new surroundings. We live on an acre of land with a mountain view in our backyard. Our neighbor to the left has horses and cows. The horses come to visit us several times a day and the kids are loving it. We spend so much time outside now that their inside toys have hardly been touched/unpacked since the move. The girls love picking the wild asparagus we having growing in our yard. Jim is excited to officially start his job on Sunday with the instillation service. We are thankful that my parents are coming in for the weekend. I am thoroughly enjoying my time off of work as a nurse and hope that will continue for several more years. We recently attending my sister, Melissa and new bro-in-law Jed's wedding in KY. What a joyous time and celebration to be a part of. Prospero enjoyed being the ring bearer and did a fabulous job, Jhon had the honor of reading Scripture, Ryan loved ringing the wedding bell, and Derly and Estefania were "ribbon" girls. Today Jhon turns 13! He is so proud of this moment of officially being a teen and no longer a pre-teen. I have had the privilege of being his mom for nearly 2 short years thus far and feel as if I have known him his whole life. I have never been so proud of my son and the young man he is becoming. What a story he has to tell - beyond any words on a page. God is moving in his life and it is a joy being apart of his journey. Jhon is a hard worker, caring for others, and also has a sense of humor and excellent comedic timing that keeps us all laughing. Happy 13th Birthday, Jhon!
